Last week, BLOCS joined Panorama Elementary for Back to School Night in Daly City to kick off the school’s yard greening project. As part of our people-first approach to landscape architecture in the Bay Area, we shared the vision for transforming the play yard and passed out surveys to parents to hear their ideas.
This early input is key. By involving families from the start, we can design outdoor spaces that reflect their needs and create a schoolyard kids and parents will truly love. Community feedback helps us move beyond standard design solutions and build places that feel welcoming, inclusive, and lasting.
This is just the first step in a collaborative process. One that will shape a greener, more vibrant space for the Panorama Elementary community.
