This photo highlights one of our favorite features from our Hiba Academy Project in San Francisco, California.
We were challenged with a 3-foot grade change between the play yard and the school entrance. Instead of treating it as a barrier or just using standard stairs and ramps we turned it into a sloped play lawn with climbing grips and a slide.
What could have been a constraint became a unique feature that kids can climb, slide, and enjoy every day and something that makes this play space stand out!
